The pitcher is the player who intentionally loses a billiard game or match for which there are financial assets at stake. A pitcher is typically one part of a collusion that includes several players, and spectators all having the intention of doing business for financial gain. The pitcher intentionally loses the match, and in return for doing so, receives a percentage of all gambling proceeds from the others involved in the collusion. The pitcher would be outlined in the gapper.
Terry has been a pitcher for as long as I've known him. You had better stay away from gambling on his match unless you bet against him, or are in collusion with him.
