A rain table situation occurs under humid conditions were the rails are springy, the cloth plays slow, and billiard balls pick up a lot of dirt and debris. Generally used to describe horrible playing conditions. It should be noted, however, that both players are subject to the same table, and thus, have the same disadvantage.
It was the worst. The whole weekend was a gong show of playing on a rain table.
