Definition of Runout
Runout is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
The term runout refers to a situation where a player begins his or her inning, and successfully pockets all remaining required balls to win the game. It refers to a run of some number of consecutive and successful shots to win the game. For example, if you have two balls left, plus the eight ball, and you pocket one ball in your first shot, another in your second, and then the eight ball in your third consecutive shot, you have performed a runout.

Runout - Usage
I just got hustled. I didn't think Adrian was that good at pool, but he just did a 5 ball runout and won the game. He is now 4 games ahead in the match.
