beginner cue but i plan to keep it awhile

beginner cue but i plan to keep it awhile

I am fairly new to the game. I love to play and i am not that great. I always use the cue they supply at the hall. I have found to like a weight of 20 oz and i am not sure if that matters. I am looking for a que that is decent and not to expensive. I dont have to have the best or near it just something nice. I really dont know what the real difference is from a 50 cue to a 1200 one. My budget is maybe $120 at most. What should i consider and will i be happy with it?

the difference between a cheap and expensive cue is the deflection, a cheap cue cannot deliver all the force that suppose to go to the cue ball not to mention that once you get to hit the cue ball the shaft is going to vibrate and will cause a different reaction to the cue ball (the ball will go to a direction or spin to where you are not expecting). try dale perry, huebler or mcdermott.
