Choosing Between a Used Brunswick vs. Olhausen Pool Table

Does anyone have any input on either of these pool tables below?

Both are available near me for the same price—just under $1000.

Based on what you see, does anyone know anything about the models of these pool tables, or whether or not one is a better deal than the other (or perhaps neither for that price)?

I’ll have it inspected by a professional pool table moving company, but would love input from this group. I’ve lurked enough to know that many might say hold for a used Brunswick GC pool table, but I would like a furniture style pool table for the place it’s going.

Anyway, this will be my first pool table, and this is my first question here. I am definitely excited.

Both of the pool tables you've shown above will be roughly similar in quality of construction, playability, longevity, etc.

They're both residential-grade "furniture style" pool tables.

Without knowing where you're at and whether you're buying from a private individual vs. from a pool table retailer, it's hard to comment on price.
- If they're being sold by individuals, I would say the price is steep. You'll have to pay for tear-down, transport, set-up at your new location, and possibly new cloth and/or cushions. This will be no less than $500 plus the cost of the new cloth and rubber.
- If they're being sold by a pool table retailer, the prices are probably reasonable as they would likely include delivery and setup, and would have replaced cloth and cushions already if the pool tables needed that.
But yes, with either one, the quality (for a residential-grade model) is fairly standard (meaning, good enough for home use).

I can't see the sides of the Brunswick model well enough from those photos to ID the model.

The Olhausen pool table appears to be an Olhausen "Provincial" model, but again, from those photos alone it is a bit hard to tell for sure. Of course leg styles differ as it's a choice you can make when buying new. See these previous questions for more on that model:

You've probably already done this, but I'll mention anyway for the benefit of others reading this in the future. If you are indeed leaning toward one of these or the other, for $1000, you should do a few final searches in Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc. in your area. The main purpose of this is to see what else is out there, locally, for that same money. I see folks getting fixated on one pool table and they end up skipping this step and missing out on something better for the same money.
