Make a Cheap Pool Table Work Better

I have been wanting a pool table so i could practice (so my friends would quit kicking my butt at the pool halls). So I got a hold of a Harvard pool table. I know it may not be a real pool table but was wondering if I could make it to where the balls roll better on the table.

It seems like the cue ball kinda roams around when it slows down. I have leveled it but I may need to do a little more adjusting. I am a complete newbie at this so any advice or help would be appreciated.

I got an extremely good deal on it so I couldn't pass it up.
