Identify My Dad's Pool Cue

Identify My Dad's Pool Cue

This pool cue was is my father's and he says he purchased it in his late teens to early twenties which dates it back to anywhere from 1975 to 1985.

I found this in the basement of our home when I was visiting to help repair some things in the house. With Christmas right around the corner I am going to get it restored as a gift for him as he still plays from time to time.

What I am asking is, by some random luck, does anyone have ANY idea on who made this? There are zero markings anywhere on the cue. It does somewhat look like there used to be some sort of marking on the inside of the joint but it is so faint I cannot make out what it is at all.

I took this to our local pool hall and with no luck, I could not find anyone who had any idea who would of made it. From their inspections they note that some of the wood used in the making of the cue was "Birds-Eye Maple" if that would help any.

Thanks for looking and any and all leads will be appreciated!

I'd say it's a Minnesota fats, but in 70s that wouldnt be an option maybe an old house cue? Meaning the place he bought it might have made it
