Sampaio Cue ID, Year, and Value

Sampaio Cue ID, Year, and Value

Can anyone help?

I picked this Sampaio cue up from a friend about a year ago. I'm having a hard time finding a picture of one like it on the net.

It has 13 pearl inlays.

I'm looking for the year it was made, and its value.

Thanks,
Bobby

It is a Sampaio "Mark VII" cue circa the mid 1960s.

It had a retail value of $35 at the time.

In 2005 the Blue Book of Pool Cues, 3rd Ed. valued it at between $250 (good condition) and $550 (mint condition, aka like new), but those prices are mostly irrelevant today. I couldn't' find any recent comparable sales, but now that you know what you have you can set up alerts on classified sites, etc. to monitor the market.
