What Will Pair Well With Tulipwood on My Next Cue

What do you guys like with tulipwood? Aside from ebony since I already have an ebony based cue on the backburner.

Here is a BHQ custom cue I have in progress with tulipwood. It sure smells good when cutting on it too.

I saw a DPK custom cue (David Paul Kersenbrock Cues) recently tha had tulipwood points inlaid into curly maple.

It looked awesome and obviously very different than the much more common ebony forearm.

Sweet looking cue once again Brent.

I like tulip wood with purple heart or even some coco looks good.

I have built several combinations with tulip wood. I would have to say my favorite was a tulip forearm and butt sleeve with a bloodwood handle. It was accented with only brass rings and the whole combination really looked elegant together.

Just a thought. It does make a great hitting cue with the right piece though.
