Carom Billiard Rules

Welcome to the carom billiards rules page. Carom billiards is a class of cue sport games played on a pocketless carom billiard table. Carom billiards games are played on a type of billiard table that does not have any pockets. The chief goal of most carom billiards games is to score counts by rebounding the balls off the cue ball and the opponent's ball during a single shot. Carom billiards is thought to have originated in France in the 18th century.

    On this carom billiard rules page you say: "Welcome to the carom billiards rules page. Carom billiards is a class of cue sport games played on a pocketless carom billiard table." Well: Most of the rules listed (e.g. Cowboy) refer to games played on a pocket billiards table! Make up your mind.

    Right you are. I've moved the Cowboy pocket billiard rules from this section to the pocket billiard section. This error was the result of a list selection mistake. (The editor selected section 2 - carom billiards instead of section 1 - pocket billiards) All of the other rules, however, are considered rules of carom-style games. Thanks again for the heads up. Much appreciated.
