Help Choosing Intermediate Pool Felt?
I am pretty new to the game of pool. We just got an 8-foot American Heritage pool table from a family friend and need to have felt put on it. I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction, and if there was some kind of "intermediate" felt that would be between $60 cheapo felt and $350 Simonis tournament grade felt. I want good felt that as I improve will respond to english.

The labor to install it properly frequently exceeds the cost of the felt. I never saw felt less than 100 nor above 250 but know most installers buy the stuff at heavy discount and can usually provide nice cloth at decent prices.
By decent, I'm thinking between 200 and 300 - installed. What about the cushions? Are they okay as is - or, should they be replaced and/or recovered as well?

Yes the bumpers will need referring as well. The felt on the table is very think and lumpy. I would like to refelt totally with some higher quality felt
