That is a BEAUTIFULLY appointed billiard room, and a fantastic pool table.

I believe it's a Brunswick Balke-Collender Co. "Home Pastime" pool table. If was featured in Brunswick pool table catalogs in 1898, 1901, 1902, and 1904 (and most likely others). Though below you'll see technical info that says it was made from between 1900 and 1904, it was featured prominently (across 2 full pages) in the 1898 catalog (see further below).

From the 1901 Brunswick Balke Collender Co. catalog:

Brunswick Balke-Collender Co Home Pastime Pool Table

    • Year of Manufacture: From 1900 To 1904
    • 6 Foot options (32" x 64" Playfield)
    • 7 Foot options (38" x 76" Playfield)
    • Color Options: Oak, finished in antique color

The Home Pastime Billiard table is one of our latest productions. It is admirably suited to the dual purpose of dining and billiard table. To convert it from a billiard table to a dining table, it is only necessary to add the wood top which we supply. This can be set in place and the table is ready for use for dining, card playing or library purposes.

It is made in both 3 x 6 and 3 1/2 x 7' size. The bed is of slate covered with first quality imported billiard cloth. The rubber cushions are the latest improved quick acting Monarch. The playing qualities of the table are essentially the same as those of the standard sizes. Woodwork of the tale is oak, handsomely finished in antique color.

The design is artistic, and the table is an elegant article of furniture for any dining room or library.

Here it is in the 1898 Brunswick Balke-Collender Co catalog:

Here it is from the 1902 Brunswick Catalog:
