    It's a Brunswick Bristol.

This is a Brunswick Monticello II pool table from 1974.

The link above had the correct photo, but it's mis-labelled as so often happens.

All of the technical information is available online in the Brunswick Billiards archives.

OK. Regardless, I wouldn't buy it unless it was super cheap, like $100.

Thank you both! I got the pool table for $200.

It is basically Brunswick Gold Crown rails with a cheaper base. It should play well.

    Few questions:

    1. Are the rails made from particle board or hardwood?
    2. Is the slate 1" pinned?

I work at a nursing home and I bought the pool table from my employer. It was kept in a recreational room there.

I've played on that table many times and it does play well.

    The rails are particle board.

What do you mean by 1" pinned slate?

Some pool table slate (such as Brunswick Gold Crown and many early Brunswick pool tables) had pins in the seams to keep them locked together.

The particle board rails are the weak link on this table. If you can find a junk Gold Crown pool table with good rails, they'd probably bolt right on.

If I would want to sell this Brunswick Monitcello II pool table of mine, how much would you recommend I ask for it?

It is in very good condition and plays well.

I have three recent sales for the Brunswick Monticello II pool table in my classified archives (Criagslist) and they were priced as follows:

    • Oversized 8ft Brunswick Monticello pool table - $750
    • Brunswick Monticello II Vintage Pool Table - $600
    • Brunswick Monticello II 8' Pool Table - $750

You could probably add about $100 for the fact that yours is a 9-footer.

Used residential-grade pool tables are a dime-a-dozen these days, so it's a buyers market.

    Good luck with the sale.

Disregard everything I said above. Don't buy it, if you haven't already. It's a particle-board piece of shit.
