Bought a Billiard Table and Need Feedback

Hello, Right now I'm probably one of the newer newbies to this forum and the sport itself. I put a deposit on a Olhausen 8' Santa Ana today - American Maple - 7/8' slate. Table was upgraded to Olhausen's Hainsworth cloth and the advantage value pack Aramith balls. Table was bought for beginner home use and then wherever we go from there. Now I need some feedback to see if I went about buying a pool table correctly. I visited 4 different dealers...looked at some tables from Africa called Capetown, a line called "Kingdom" and a line called Imperial and then the Olhausen table. I know it's a respectable name but want some feedback if I should consider any other upgrades on the table, may be a 1" slate, or to even reconsider my purchase. Any suggestions or feedback is appreciated....preferably ASAP. Thanks, mij721

    I think you made a good choice. You can't go too wrong with an Olhausen. I actually bought a used Kasson table because I couldn't afford a new one, and it plays great..
