Types or Names of Cue Sport Table

My dad's friend had given him a game table that came from a bar that closed. This game table looks just like a pool table, but at the end of it has theese horseshoe shaped rods? i guess standing up. It looks as if you need to get a ball through them? I know what I wrote isnt that clarifying but if you have the slightest clue it will get me closer than what I know now. I dont have a picture but I can get one tomorrow of it.
